How To Manage Excessive Dreaming At Night

It is very disturbing for some people to dream all the time, because it cannot be ruled out that dreaming is related to some pathological factors, and long-term dreaming will inevitably affect one's mental state. So how should I manage my constant dreaming?

1,Avoid substances that interfere with sleep
Alcohol, caffeine and tobacco, for example, can reduce the quality of sleep. Do not drink alcohol, coffee, strong tea and functional drinks containing stimulants such as caffeine, or smoke a few hours before bedtime. Alcohol may appear to make some people fall asleep faster, but it can actually inhibit you from entering the deeper stages of sleep, and you may wake up easily during sleep due to stomach upset, thirst, etc.

2,Seek medical attention as soon as possible
In the absence of sleep-disrupting substances and in the absence of mental or physical abnormalities, if you have frequent sleep abnormalities, such as sleepwalking, shouting in your dreams or having frequent horrible nightmares, which have a significant impact on your life and work, seek psychiatric consultation.

3, Set the right attitude towards dreams.
Dreams are good, but don't reverse the cause-and-effect relationship between dreaming and poor sleep. It is the daily dream that recodes and integrates our perceptual and behavioural experiences during the day into symbolic and conscious knowledge, connects old and new memories, and allows for a deeper connection between emotions and events, giving us wisdom and emotional enrichment.

4,Calm the mind
Before going to bed, you can write in a calm journal to bring the day to a close and let go of everything and go to sleep. Of course, don't start dwelling on trivial matters as soon as you write in your diary, making it difficult to calm down. Don't worry too much about the quality of your sleep. There are times when a person is sick, even if they are healthy, so there is no need to worry too much about the occasional bad night's sleep.
