St Mary's also offers a wide range of private paediatric treatment services, including a world-renowned paediatric haematology unit. The Lindo Wing of St Mary's Hospital has a world-renowned obstetrics and gynaecology department. At the Lindu Wing, the hospital offers consultant-led care, which means that the woman's designated consultant is responsible for the entire pregnancy, birth and postnatal follow-up.

It is also the ideal compound if a woman needs specialist medical support. The hospital is not a separate private institution and has a full range of emergency neonatal services, with back-up support available if the mother and newborn baby require additional care.

2, Charing Cross Hospital

Charing Cross Hospital is a leading centre for cancer treatment, neuroscience, neurorehabilitation, complex surgery, elective orthopaedic surgery, urology and vascular disease, with the West London Neuroscience Centre providing very high quality care for neurological conditions. Its specialist Intensive Care Unit (ICU) provides a seamless transition from emergency treatment to rehabilitation for patients with extreme traumatic brain injury. Complementary therapies associated with rehabilitation include: physiotherapy, occupational therapy, cognitive aids, speech therapy, dieticians and medication.

The private inpatient facility is located on the 15th floor of Charing Cross Hospital and has 29 spacious en-suite rooms. The rooms are equipped with satellite TV (with UK and international channels), newspapers, complimentary toiletries and free WIFI, and the hospital offers a menu of halal, vegetarian and kosher dishes prepared by the chef. For patients who require more room space, the hospital also offers VIP suites, which are available upon request.

3,Hammersmith Hospital

Hammersmith Hospital is a specialist academic medical centre. It specialises in complex diseases such as heart disease, cardiothoracic disease, cancer treatment, fertility, renal transplantation, gynaecology, hepatobiliary disease and clinical haematology, and also offers comprehensive clinical care.

The Wolfson Fertility Centre at Hammersmith Hospital is world-renowned for its in vitro fertilisation (IVF) services. The unit is equipped with highly advanced ultrasound equipment, HyCoSy (technology to detect tubal obstruction), and 3D and 4D scans. Hammersmith Hospital has an extensive reservoir of sperm, eggs and embryos.

In addition, chemotherapy can affect fertility and for patients who need to undergo chemotherapy, the hospital can help patients to collect eggs or sperm for storage prior to chemotherapy in case they need it in the future. As more and more women are seeking egg freezing, hospitals can provide clear and scientific advice to help patients make informed decisions in this regard.

4,Queen Charlotte's and Chelsea Hospital
The Queen Charlotte and Chelsea Hospital is a fetal medicine centre offering gynaecology and obstetrics services. It has very strong research links, offers consultant-led and midwife-led maternity options, and provides specialist services for complex pregnancies, fetal and neonatal care, and is one of the few centres in the UK that can provide specialist care for newborns weighing less than 1.5kg.

Consultant-led maternity means that pregnancy, birth and postnatal follow-up are all led by a named consultant. The hospital recommends this option for women who are at high risk or who have experienced pregnancy complications. The midwife-led option is recommended for women who are expected to have a normal birth, whether or not it is a first birth. The woman will first get to know the whole midwife team who can provide guidance whenever the woman needs help. During labour, a midwife will accompany the mother throughout the birth and continue to provide assistance for several weeks afterwards.

Under the careful care of a specialist obstetrician, paediatrician and midwife, both the mother and baby receive quality care. The hospital's consultant doctors, midwives and logisticians have a wide range of pregnancy and birth techniques and experience, from natural and normal births to complex multiple births.

The Queen Charlotte and Chelsea Hospital has one of the larger neonatal intensive care units (ICUs) in the UK. The maternity ward has 2 fully equipped operating theatres with a high dependency unit set up close by to provide quality care in all circumstances. The Queen Charlotte and Chelsea Hospital and Hammersmith Hospital are located in the same location so that mothers and newborn babies have a wealth of back-up medical care available 24 hours a day.

5, Western Eye Hospital
The Western Eye Hospital is a renowned eye hospital and teaching centre founded in 1865.

The hospital's current treatment equipment includes new optical coherence tomography, which provides comprehensive and sophisticated examinations. From general eye problems to complex ophthalmic problems, the specialists at Western Eye Hospital can help.
